We recommend using this after water-based toners/essences/serums and before moisturizer & SPF. If you're choosing to use this once a day, we recommend morning since one of the peptide complexes is designed to address expression line formation over time. You're not making as many expressions at night when you're asleep! However, if you want to maximize the benefits and use it at night too, you're getting a double dose of some of those other firming ingredients.

No! The peptides used in this product are highly stable, even when combined with other typically "tricky" ingredients.

Peptides can often struggle to get across skin's barrier to actually exert their benefits (depending on the peptide..) but we are using 2 advanced complexes that incorporate a targeted delivery mechanism to maximize the benefits of the peptides in the formula. This technology encapsulates a peptide in a shell that is highly compatible with skin for optimal delivery, and the shell is then tagged on the outside with another peptide that specifically drives and delivers it to the relevant active sites. We also incorporated a third peptide complex that utilizes a complex of diamond powder and resveratrol to optimize bioavailability. Sounds a lot more promising than throwing a bunch of peptides at the face and hoping some of them will reach their bioactive sites, amirite?!

We added a cooling agent, menthyl lactate, to bring that refreshing cold burst to skin as you apply the product. It's not the same as menthol, though! In fact, this derivative was shown to provide a cooling sensation without the irritation potential of standard menthol. So it's sensitive-skin approved too!

We recommend daily use, but you can absolutely use it twice a day if you want!

We opted out of using copper peptides, but the formula still has a blue color! That's because the energetic booster complex contains Copper lysinate/prolinate, which still lends that slight blue hue.

NO! Nothing that you apply to skin topically is going to give the same benefits as an injectable. Period. But this product can help train your skin to look its best between appointments (or without appointments, if you choose to go needle-less!)

    Feels so good going on, the cooling effect is to die for. This is my first time using a peptide serum, and I love how effective this has been so far. I look so smooth and juicy! It plays nicely with other products, I can use it right after other serums with zero issue. It’s not sticky, it absorbs fast. It’s on the expensive side, but for an effective peptide serum with an advanced delivery system, it’s really not bad. I bought a second bottle on BF, just to have a backup!

    Freeze Frame is the best peptide I have ever used. It quite literally freezes your face. It’s a wonderful preventative for wrinkles while it also helps with current wrinkles. It’s a wonder serum. Turns back the hands of time while stopping the clock.

    I Was on the Fence, But....

    Turns out I love it! I have tried a few other drugstore peptide serums that were fine. I know any serum won't give me botox level results, but Freeze Frame has allowed me to stretch my botox appointment out by a month so far! I wasn't sure if I would love the cooling feeling that was advertised, so I dragged my heels ordering it, but after trying Golden Hour I took the plunge. The cooling feeling isn't overpowering, and I look forward to using this serum each day!
